Ways to Give
Beyond making a gift by credit card or check, there are several other ways to contribute to NCRC. If you need any assistance, please contact Kate Gelatt, Director of Advancement. NCRC is a 501(c)(3) organization, and all gifts are tax-deductible.
Give Today
Credit Card/Online: You can give with a credit card via our secure online giving form. We accept Visa, Mastercard, AmericanExpress, and Discover.
Check: Please make checks payable to: National Child Research Center. Deliver to: 3209 Highland Place NW, Washington DC 20008.
Transfer Stock & Securities: Making your donation to NCRC through transference of appreciated stock has benefits. There are donor benefits to making your gift to NCRC through transference of appreciated stock. First, you avoid paying capital gains taxes on the appreciation amount. Second, you can deduct the stock’s current value as a charitable income tax deduction.
To initiate this process, please follow the DTC instructions, and please email Kate Gelatt to inform her of incoming gifts:
Charles Schwab & Co., Inc.
DTC: 0164 Code: 40
Account Name: National Child Research Center
Please note: charitable tax-reported value will be calculated by averaging the high and low stock value on the day the stock is sold upon receipt by NCRC. Should there be a discrepancy between the transfer day value and sale value, the higher amount will be applied toward pledges made and donor’s assigned Giving Level.
Corporate Giving
Matching Gifts: Many corporations will double your charitable contributions. See if your employer will match your donation!
Payroll: See if your employer offers payroll giving.
Sponsorship: If your company is interested in being a sponsor for the annual Tuition Benefit Gala, please contact Kate Gelatt, Director of Advancement.
Legacy Giving
Bequests: Through the thoughtful and well-planned will, you and your family can help ensure the future success of NCRC. After providing for your family, you can ask your attorney to include a gift to your extended NCRC family.
Retirement Plan Assets: You may name NCRC as the beneficiary or contingent of an IRA, 401(k), 403(b), or other federally recognized retirement plan. This type of gift may help minimize estate, income, and generation-skipping taxes on those funds.
Gifts of Life Insurance: Life insurance policies may be used to create a legacy by naming NCRC as a beneficiary of the policy.
For all of these Legacy Gifts, please consult your attorney or financial advisor about specifics. Gifts may be made to:
